The village is built amphitheatrically and consists of whitewashed houses with pebble paved courtyards and cobbled narrow lanes and lies at the foot of the rocky acropolis. You can ascend the ancient acropolis that stands dominating the village, from the main square of Lindos, by foot or donkey.
One of the main attractions of Lindos which are also worth seeing is the old theatre of the town, carved from a rock and the Doric sanctuary of Athena Lindia. The village is full of shops, cafes, bars, tavernas and restaurants.
